Goals: Trending social videos and evergreen branded content library

I produced and edited videos for Amazon’s Selling Partner team, directing campaigns that showcased small businesses on Amazon. For this feature I worked with Apothekary founder Shizu Okusa. Apothekary makes plant-based wellness products that combine Eastern herbal medicine with Western science. Okusa, a former Wall Street professional and serial entrepreneur, founded the brand to make traditional herbal remedies easier for modern consumers to use.

From the shoot, my team and I created multiple photo carousel and social video posts throughout the year featuring the seller’s brand while also showcasing the benefits of selling with Amazon.

My role was to lead the on-set creative direction, guiding the videographers, photographers, and grips to execute a cohesive visual approach that aligned with Amazon’s brand standards and the campaign’s creative objectives. In post-production, I edited videos for social channels as well as ideate how we could use the media in future projects.

In addition to producing the primary video and carousel assets for this seller, the shoot was strategically designed to generate evergreen content for the @SellOnAmazon social channels and expand our library of authentic seller media for future campaigns.

Across my experience in corporate, creative, and editorial environments, I’ve found that building a robust, brand-specific media library creates long-term value. By capturing a range of candid, high-quality visuals beyond the immediate campaign needs, we were able to establish a versatile content resource that could support future storytelling, social content, and seller-focused marketing initiatives.

A key focus during editing was achieving the polished, professional aesthetic preferred by both Apothekary and Amazon while incorporating contemporary social trends that favor lo-fi and casual content.
